Acclaimed mezzo-soprano D'Anna Fortunato presents master classes in various academic institutions across the country alongside her status as a professor of voice at the New England Conservatory. She has a private studio and is a faculty member of the prestigious SongFest Program now located in LA at the Colburn School of Music. She previously was a member of the Bach Aria Group, touring, recording, and teaching summer seminars at S.U.N.Y. Stony Brook for 15 years. Ms. Fortunato has appeared as a soloist with leading American orchestras, including the Philadelphia, New York Philharmonic, San Francisco, Houston, Cleveland, Boston, Dallas and Minnesota orchestras, as well as St. Luke's Orchestra and the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra. She has performed major operatic roles with such companies as Glimmerglass, Kentucky Opera, Connecticut Grand Opera, Opera San Jose and Boston Lyric Opera.
