Baritone, Vincenzo Catarisano
was Papageno (Magic Flute) in the UGOS Fall scenes recital and participated in an Undergrad Vocal Division Masterclass in the Spring. Vincenzo will be attending the Neil Semer Vocal Seminars in Germany this summer on scholarship.

Soprano, Xintong Li
was the 2nd Place winner in the NATS Songfest Competition this winter (Division 4- Professional) and gave her Master's recital which featured Ravel's Sheherazade. Xintong has been the Voice Division's teaching Assistant for the last 2 years and will be returning to China to perform as soloist with the Beijing Opera.

Soprano, Abigail Miller
gave her graduating Lecture/Recital - J.S. Bach and Sons accompanied by well-known harpsichordist/fortepianist, Roderick Phipps-Kettlewell, with Jason Coleman, Cellist.

Soprano, Michelle Sugiarto
was a member of the first Undergraduate Small Vocal Quartet this year and will participate in the Orford Music Festival in Canada on scholarship this summer.

Tenor, Jordan Tan
was a National Semi Finalist-Classical Singer's 2012 College Competition, also creating and organizing the 1st NEC Vocal Quartet last Fall. Jordan will be attending the Oxenfoord Music Festival in Edinburgh this summer on full scholarship.

Soprano, Rebecca Wright
was selected to sing several solos this year with the NEC Chamber Chorus and Full Choir, and sang a leading role in the production of Into the Woods in the winter. Becky gave her Junior recital this Spring accompanied by Justin Williams and earlier, participated in a Vocal Division Masterclass. Becky will be attending the Neil Semer Seminars this summer in Germany.

Tenor, Hyunho Yoo
sang in the prestigious NEC Liederabend Series, gave his Masters recital with John Moriarty, piano, this Spring, earlier singing several roles in Britten's Paul Bunyan - the NEC Spring Opera. Hyunho will be attending the Julliard School of Music this fall for a GD degree on a full scholarship.



Leggiero Soprano, Sarah Bach
continues to organize and sing with the Arabella Ensemble now performing around the region, most recently at the Boston Athenaeum to a sold out audience. This past Fall, Sarah sang as soloist in the Milton Babbitt Memorial concert at NEC featuring talks by the famous composer's illustrious students, and was featured in a BU Faculty Concert in the music of well-known composer, Rodney Lister, with the composer at the piano.

Mezzo-soprano, Rossie Clark-Cotton
continues to sing with the Back Bay Chorale and is presently participating in the Longy Vocal Performance Classes this semester.

Lyric Mezzo-soprano, Carol Emrich-Fisher
continues to sing as soloist with the Cantata Singers and teaches in their Youth Workshops. As one of only 6 singers chosen nationally, Carola will be participating this summer in the Fall Island Vocal Arts Seminar at SUNY Potsdam, organized by Met Mezzo, Stephanie Blythe to promote and present American Art Songs.

Soprano, Liz Galloway
has continued to sing with the Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus and will take time out soon to become a new mother - Congrats, Liz !

Mezzo-soprano, Julia Jaffee
has been singing roles this Spring in two Russian Operas: The role of the Mother in the Snow Maiden by Rimsey-Korsakov with the Lowell House Opera and a supporting role in Tchaikowsky's Iolanthe. Julia will present a recital this summer entitled From Russia to Rossini.

Leggiero Soprano, Charlotte McKechnie
sang the role of Lady Psyche in the Harvard G & S. Players production of Princess Ida. Charlotte also was a soloist in the Harvard Days in the Arts and directed and sang roles in several Opera Workshops as well.

Lyric Coloratura Soprano, Erin Nafziger
continues to teach as Voice Professor at Williams College, Williamstown, MA and sings as soloist throughout the Northeast.

Soubrette Soprano, Caroline Reilly
recently joined the Studio and is now attending Suffolk University for her Bachelors degree. Welcome, Caroline!

Tenor, Stefan Schaller
continues to sing with the Chorus Pro Musica, and participated in several Longy Vocal Events in the Spring as well as participating in several Austrian Choral programs.

Lyric Soprano, Sheryl Levitt-Schwartz
has developed her unique American Songbook recitals with William Merrill, pianist, performing them for various organizations this year to acclaim.

Baritone, Richard Scott
sang as Alindoro in the Boston Opera Collaborative's performance of Puccini's La Boheme in the Spring; participated in Chorus Boston's spring program and recently sang as soloist in the Longy CS Showcase in Pickman Hall.

Lyric Soprano, Mary Margaret Segraves
continues to sing with the Back Bay Chorale and now is a member of the New World Chorale, as well. Summers are spent participating in the Ogantz Music Festival.

Soubrette Soprano, Stacia Stornetto
will be performing in the Concord Opera's full production of Puccini's La Boheme early this summer.

Soubrette Soprano, Anna Stephenson
recently joined the studio after competing her Vocal performance degree. This Fall, Anna will be entering BU for the Arts Management degree program!

Lyric Mezzo-soprano, Ying Wu
has been participating recently as soloist in concerts presented by various well-known Chinese organizations. Accompanied by pianist, David Collins, Ying just presented her own recital at the Follen Church to an overflow audience with her large Studio of singers acting as choral ensemble as well! This Summer, she participates in the NEC Opera Workshop singing as Octavian in Strauss' Der Rosenkavalier.



Soprano, Anne Carolyn Bird
continues to sing roles at the Metropolitan Opera in their Emerging Artist program, while debuting this season as soloist with the American Symphony Orchestra, the National Symphony, the Spoleto Festival (Pierrot Lunaire-Schönberg), and the prestigious New York Festival of Song. She returns to several regional American Opera Companies including the Wolf Trap Opera in leading roles such as Cunegonde in Bernstein's Candide. In the recent past, she was a soloist with the LA Philharmonic, the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra and the Atlanta Symphony.

Soprano, Amanda Forsythe
is singing major roles this year with the Royal Opera House/Covent Garden, the Vlaamse Opera in Belgium, and is currently concertizing with the Philharmonica Baroque, Vancouver Early Music Festival, and the Handel and Haydn Society.

Mezzo-soprano, Carola Emrich-Fisher (Current Student)
has been chosen as one of only six singers nation-wide, to participate this Summer in the Fall Island Vocal Arts Seminar founded by Mezzo, Stephanie Blythe. Her recent solo recitals include performances at the German Embassy in New York City, the Peabody Essex Museum in Massachusetts, Middlebury College in Vermont, and the Stummsche Reithalle in Neunkirchen, Germany where the Saarbrücker Zeitung calls her a "secure and engaging" performer, who is "one of the most promising young talents." Carola has performed as soloist in the Cantata Singers Chamber and Main Series and is a member of the Libella Vocal Quartet, the only professional Vocal Quartet in Boston. Her solo performances have been broadcast on public radio stations and she can be heard as the Sailor and 2nd Witch on the Newport Baroque recording of Dido and Aeneas.

Soprano, Melody King
returns to the Livermore Opera, CA to sing the role of Donna Anna (Don Giovanni) after her heralded debut as Cio-Cio San in Madame Butterfly last season, in the same year debuting with Opera San Jose. Melody is singing as a concert soloist frequently throughout California.

Mezzo-soprano, Denise Milner-Howells
continues to sing major roles with opera companies in the Mid-West, including The Chautauqua Opera, Opera Cleveland, and the Akron Lyric Opera. She is a recent soloist with the Buffalo Philharmonic and the Akron Symphony, amongst others. She previously was chosen to participate in the Tanglewood Festival on scholarship. Denise has been teaching at SUNY Fredonia.

Mezzo-soprano, Hilary Walker
as an Emerging Artist, has been singing major roles with Boston Opera Collaborative recently and just premiered a new Opera with Juventus New Music Ensemble in Boston this Spring.

Mezzo-soprano, Cary Ann Rosko
has become a leading Cabaret singer on the West Coast, creating her One-Woman show and taking leading roles with the Cinnabar Theater and the Lamplighter Music Theater in the Bay area.

Soprano, Shannon Canavin
is the Founding Director of the well-known Early Music Ensemble, Exultemus. She has concertized throughout the East Coast with ensembles including Apollo’s Fire, Newport Baroque, Arcadia Players, Amphion’s Lyre, and the Connecticut Early Music Festival.
